400 Series Force Plate

The 400 Series Force Plate, simple looking with results that are simply good. Force Plate technology combined with the worlds best practice measurement software, BMS, ensure accurate reporting and montioring of:

  • Jump Heights

  • Upward Thrust

  • Displacement

  • Force Loading measurements

Measurement of vertical ground reaction force combined with the Ballistic Measurement System (BMS) software provides very accurate data on athlete performance in:

  1. Vertical jump (single or multiple)
  2. Traditional isotonic lifting training in squat or dead lift
  3. Isometric testing of functional tasks such as squat or dead lift
  4. Weightlifting movements such as snatch, clean, and pull

  5. Place a bench on the plate and you can measure upper body performance in bench press or bench throw

 

Performance in vertical jumping provides valuable information on leg extensor strength qualities. The BMS calculates a range of key performance variables:

  1. Peak and average force

  2. Peak and average power output

  3. Peak velocity

  4. Maximum rate of force development

  5. Starting strength

  6. Jump height

  7. Flight to contact ratio

 

One test in particular: The 5 x Counter Movement Jump test using the 400S provides auto saved diagnostic Strength & Conditioning data that has set a new benchmark for our professional football team customers.

400S Force Plate Aluminium Transit Case

The completely packed 400S Force Plate Unit has a total mass of less than 32Kg (FP with feet & cables 19.5 Kg, Carry Case less than 11.5 Kg = 31 Kg.) This means it can be checked in as regular baggage on commercial airlines where normal max limit per item is 32Kg.

The carry case is made from fabricated Aluminium RHS frame with 1mm thick Aluminium sheets on the base & top. The Aluminium Case (0.88L x 0.86W x 0.14H Weight = 11.5Kg) can easily be lifted by one or two people with the FP locked inside.

When the 400S plate is fitted & the 4 x lid connection screws are secured it forms a solid transit unit with nil internal movement possible. A Metric No.5 Allen Key secures the lid & base case halves for transit. This Allen key + the below stated carry strap can be carried as aircraft hand luggage (unlike all screwdrivers etc.)

Software technical support is available from Fitness Technology’s support engineers. Initial support inquiries - send a support request to infoatfittech.com.au (Note: replace at with @ symbol - SPAM protection measure)

Just provide an outline of the issue - a screen grab is helpful (via Fn+PrtSc Key) With all KMS & BMS software on the front page go to Help\System Report copy that text also send these details too.

In the first 12 months from the equipment purchase date - the first 2 hours online support is free of charge. Thereafter an invoice will be submitted to clients requesting support with our details for a Bank EFT payment. The invoice cost will be based in increments of 15 minute time periods spent here. Most issues are fixed online in 15 – 30 minutes. Real time support is also available via Skype which enables our support engineers to speak with clients to take them through the steps whilst viewing their PC screen at the same time (Skype anywhere is free of all phone costs.)
